In Season 3, the mines under the caldera no longer face each other for operators.
Developed by Toys for Bob, a Warzone seasonal content support studio, Hold will be the new setting for Gulag battles in Season 3.
Hold is said to be a roughly symmetrical, three-lane arena with identical corridors around an otherwise open space, based on the belly of a ship located on the banks of the Caldera.
Operators at either end of the suspension can walk through control rooms on the perimeter. These narrow corridors are said to be excellent for placing weapons, with the gates facing inland providing an alternate flank path if the enemy is not visible when spawning.
The hatch’s interior space contains a vital mechanism that creates a small box-like space to plant the unstable overtime flag under the trash can hangers. While it’s difficult to move the beautiful lines around the map, the best bet for players is finding the right angle in front of cars, boxes, and containers.
Survival strategies in the fort are said to reflect another symmetrical arena, using equipment to narrow down the enemy’s exact position and using the inbound path best suited to the power of a particular weapon.
Rifles and SMGs may be better suited for perimeter combat, while Assault Rifles and LMGs can find the proper engagement by pressing the center bar.
