First of all, arriving at the caldera in Season 3 is a new point of interest (POI) nestled among the ruins and mines. Called the Excavation Site, players are invited to get their hands dirty and scour abandoned excavation equipment, tents and massive skeletons to uncover ancient secrets, starter items, supply boxes and enemy tracks. The mining company eventually abandoned the operation after discovering the remains of creatures such as giant skulls, ribs and snakes, which some believe came from the hollow earth.
As Raven Software said a few weeks ago, Peak will definitely be making changes in the new season to attract “more operators looking for a solid starting point for supply boxes, contracts and return strategies”. All of the summit buildings have been fully constructed and, along with the new paintwork, have revealed the symbol of a mysterious global organization known as the Monarch, the crypto-defense force that studies the effectiveness of titanium on the island. . Players will also need to use the new external and internal boosters to quickly move between old and new floors in the area, or drop down into the core to see some of the improvements normally made to natural building.
As darker days loom on the horizon, the Caldera track has been rebuilt with barracks, hangars and other structural additions, replaced by overgrown forests and abandoned dwellings on that side. The runway also includes several guard towers and a water tower to better monitor the area, as well as several canceled planes that could serve as a shield. Activision also noted that operators who normally come to Beachhead or the nearby operations building will find it easier to navigate the track.
In season 3, the return is said to take a different route from the main island to the structure. Stretching the waterway to the knee, this stretch of sand is home to many moored boats to explore or exploit. Behind some steep houses, next to the rocky cliff, are several sloping paths that lead to the main island and the side that already exists on this side.
Cars can also move through the area – make sure your driver knows how to handle off-road terrain and is not prone to “sinking feelings” during tactical operations.
In addition to these additions, Activision pointed out that it will be able to find many clues about what will come after Operation Monarch, which will introduce a new game mode for Quads based on several classic experiences with a Titanium-sized twist. . The clues are said to come in the form of ancient artifacts, monarch research equipment, tents and a huge glowing ax protruding from the ground near the station.
