As War Pacific Season 3 approaches, it looks like the current Sniper Meta may encounter the Black Ops Cold War sniper.
With Modern Warfare tools like the Kar98k and the Cold War Swiss K31 Battle Royale, no other sniper or sniper rifle can match its dominance. Many players constantly complain about the sniper meta, often the desired nerfs can be activated. If this happens, players may want to return to Pellington 703.
Here’s everything fans need to know about the Cold War sniper who could soon dominate the caldera.
The Pellington 703 is currently the 46th most used weapon in Warzone. Although firearms are still an effective option, many have opted for other snipers.
In a recent Metaphor video, Pellington highlighted the 703 and said the sniper could be a great option early next season. “With snipers coming in Season 3, big changes are happening that will make our favorite snipers unnecessary,” he continued. Essentially, the Pellington could be a great alternative to the Kar98k and the Swiss K31.
The metaphor also included that if he decided how to piss off the snipers, he would “remove targeted sniper assistance”. For now, it is not known what these sniper nerfs will look like, but many are already trying to find other alternatives.
