When will Verdansky be back?

Players are wondering when Verdun will return to Call of Duty: Warzone.

It’s been almost a year since Verdunsky, one of Warzone’s most beloved maps, was dismembered by a nuke and replaced with Verdunsky ’84. Shortly after, the map was replaced by Caldera, and many fans were upset and frustrated with the depth of the map. Fortunately, the game’s original map will be back in 2023.

Here’s everything players need to know about Verdunski’s return.

Verdansky will return in 2023 with the release of the next installment of the great franchise and an all-new Warzone 2.0 experience by the end of 2022.

When discussing the future of the game, Activision’s Alex Summers said that Verdansky will only appear on “select platforms”. This may be a small twist on the prior Call of Duty leak which suggested that Warzone mobile will feature an alternate version of the classic Verdansk Battle Royale map.

If Verdansky returns to Warzone, players will have access to any version of the classic map for the first time since Caldera released in December 2021. Despite all the rumors and speculation, the studio has not officially confirmed this. There is still a lot of uncertainty about whether these statements are true, and therefore Verdunsky’s future.
