Player encountered a rare “pay and lose” skin in Call of Duty: Vanguard that makes aiming (ADS) impossible with certain weapons.

As the most competitive shooters, the developers and marketing teams at Activision Call of Duty strongly insist that no weapon blueprint, vehicle, or operator skin should give players a competitive advantage.

But as this clip on Reddit shows, there were several times when that wasn’t the case.

On Tuesday, Denial user u/dannylo posted a caption saying, “Panzerfaust ADS blocked by Arthur ‘Alive’ spawn.”

In just 12 seconds, Danilo demonstrated how Panzerfaust’s hilarious attempt to launch a rocket crashed before Arthur Kingsley stepped into the shoes of a rare “Alleyway” cameraman.

That’s right, the skin itself is clean, giving the Kingsley a nice low-profile silhouette with camouflage patterns and a hoodie.

The problem, however, is that the yellow gauntlet strapped to his right hand literally collapses, blocking the iron viewing hole players need to announce panzerfust.

“You have to feel where the rocket is going,” Reddit user u/Riga27 replied.

The Alleyway skin actually went live as part of the Season 1 Fight Pass for Vanguard in December 2021, and sadly, this appears to be an issue that’s been under the rug for a few months.

Interestingly, players seem to have since mentioned that other Operator skins also have their own unique instances of this type of issue, so hopefully Sledgehammer Games and its partners. He can take into account these reports that these errors will disappear as soon as possible.
