The Call of Duty: Warzone meta has been mostly Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles for the past few months, few could stop this deadly combination. However, after a recent makeover, there may be a new meta on the horizon: one that puts guns back into the overall Warzone picture.
A new discovery was made when players experimented with arameta guns in Season 2 to find fun new alternatives, Warzone content creator Timtatman noted that all Vanguard guns are clearly broken.
Now it looks like the Akimbo Rifle is back in the old meta, the Akimbo Eagle Rifle doesn’t seem so out of place in today’s Warzone. The popular streamer highlighted powerful handguns in his March 27 video and showed that the Akimbo duo can smash enemy ground with just two hits – but you don’t need any other meta addons.
While rifles are unlikely to fully capture the meta, they’re still pretty solid considering they’re no longer the throwable enemies they used to be. Try this new loadout today and let us know what you think: is the rifle back in Warzone?
