Our Warzone Assault Rifles series for September 2022 is here to help you figure out which weapons are best to use, as the new meta is once again tuned following the release of Raven Software’s latest major balancing update.
Since the first patch of Season 5, Warzone players have surprisingly almost yet to see any nerfs and weapon buffs. However, this does not mean that methane is still not valued. So here’s how Assault Rifles stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 in September 2022.

Layers
There are 12 ARs in Tier S that have proven to be major parts of the meta in Season 5. Especially after the SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x optics got on the nerves, there are definitely options that players can use for their primary AR. . For sniper support, don’t overlook the Volk, which should be an ideal option for emerging snipers. Meanwhile, the Nikita AVT, KG M40, Vargo 52, STG44, Cooper Carbine, Kilo 141, AS44, Vargo-S and M13 should also remain solid options.
Arrange
Tier A has several variants which are the most effective and generally remain balanced for use in Warzone. Essentially, these ARs sit outside of the main meta, but can still get the job done and keep you competitive.
B-level
These weapons remain valid at Tier B, but could still use a small balloon to entice more players to seriously consider using them. Unfortunately, the fun ends there. These ARs are not popular or statistically robust compared to the weapons above. At first, attracting attention with its laser rifle characteristics, the EX1 looks more like a traditional, fraudulent weapon than a smelting machine.
layer C
Whether for long-range support or sniping, these C-rank rifles aren’t even close to making their way into the meta and definitely need some upgrading in Warzone.
