Fans went wild as the latest (and final) Warzone update brought the sun back to the Caldera. Redditor Raketee posted a photo of an intense glow in the sky as he looked down at the caldera. The Redditor made it clear at the “Spooky Lighting is Back” post that lighting is a major issue. Since replacing Verdanski’s iconic and fan-favorite map, Caldera has been a weak spot among fans, but Warzone players agree that there are lighting issues on both maps.
The Reddit post currently has over 100 votes and tons of comments, but not all fans agree that the lighting is really that bad.
One Redditor commented, “The awful whine never stopped” as many other fans agreed that the lighting is a legitimate issue, with one commenting that “trying to watch almost anything that comes up is literally blinding”.
Despite fan dissatisfaction and discrimination, RavenSoftware has not commented on this. Luckily, Warzone has many patches coming out throughout the season, so hopefully the issue will be resolved.
Otherwise, we’re only months away from the arrival of Warzone 2, which is sure to give players a new map and plenty of quality-of-life improvements.
