Warzone season 5 roadmap: all the details

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5: Last Stand, the final season of Vanguard content, was announced in full by Activision on Thursday.

From map updates to new gulags, new weapons and more, here’s everything you need to know about the Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 roadmap.

The Last Stand update will go live in Warzone on Wednesday, August 24 at 12:00 PM ET.

The theme of Warzone Season 5: The Last Stand is the return of iconic villains from the series (like Gabriel T. Roark) trying to sabotage the Caldera.

Operation: Last Call is a new limited-time Warzone mode inspired by Search and Destroy. Players can choose to defend the caldera by detonating bombs around the island or sabotage it by detonating explosives at designated bombs.

LTM will also have its own in-game public event where Lava Rocks crash into the caldera and eject players. Check the volcano gauge for a visual representation of current activity, which also shows the growing smoky atmosphere during the match.

Heroes vs. Villains are said to be a new community event where players can choose a side and fight for victory in all game modes by eliminating opponents and clearing supply boxes to collect Villain or Hero Tokens. Live, the event will also offer a discount on Faction Packs at Buy Stations. When players buy a faction pack, they get a discount on another item with each purchase station.

Players will have a chance to win special rewards such as the Legendary Animated Calling Card “One on One”, the Weapon Talisman “Hero or the Villain”, the Melee Weapon Blueprint “Skirmish Spike”, the “Dual Time” clock and more. But perhaps the biggest reward is a unique weapon blueprint that will be awarded to all winning parties after the event.

The launch of Season 5 will introduce Doomsday Station, UAV Supply Box, Personal Supply Box, and Rage Serum to Warzone.

On the Caldera, the Doomsday Station is supposed to be a seismic device that, when activated for $10,000, causes enemy soldiers to attack your position with helicopters. Only one Doomsday Station will spawn per match, with multiple possible spawn locations. Like the Apex Legends IMC Armory feature, it successfully complements Doomsday Station, which features unique Watch cosmetics as well as powerful items for players on the grid.

The new Supply Box UAV Killstreak would be useful for tracking more items. Marks nearby unopened supply crates on the player’s tactical map for approximately 15 seconds. Supply Box Drones can be found in Supply Boxes and purchased from Buy Stations.

The Personal Supply Box is said to be an “Extremely Rare Box” that can be found with the Supply Box drone to give players a weapons platform and a huge XP boost.

Finally, a new item credited to developer Toys for Bob, Rage Serum is said to be a new field upgrade that allows players to become “violently unstable” and grants higher melee ability, increased range, and throwing power. dizziness. After observing “increasing volcanic activity” in the caldera, it appears the summit has finally been destroyed by lava, as players first predicted when the POI was first posted. Lava now descends from the side of the mountain in all modes and is thrown onto the island during Operation: Last Call.

Season 5 will introduce a new volcano-themed gulag pit, which is said to be inspired by an “old favorite.”

Season 4’s storms appear to have disappeared over the caldera, with sunlight now peeking through the volcano’s smoke. Revival Island is also said to have new lighting changes, with “warm, lush sunsets that increase the color tone” of the map.

Resurgence Island is said to have a Resurgence Supreme mode where four-man squads can enter with the best weapons and respawn is enabled. The mod will also generously reward those who, on the face of it, win a match with more than 15 kills.
