In a recent video, renowned Warzone content creator IceManIsaac revealed a new STG-44 meta that has the potential to replace the existing meta weapon, the KG M40.
The STG-44 was a meta weapon of the past until it was replaced by the NZ-41, but IceManIsaac swears the weapon is “back with a vengeance” after recent updates. A YouTuber showed off the stats between the STG-44 and the KG M40 using the Sym.gg website, revealing that they are on par and that in some cases the STG-44 can kill faster depending on the scope.

Attachments may look different when STG 44 is at the top of the meta, but that’s because of the many balance changes that have taken place since then. The STG-44 has wide range, recoil control, and can destroy enemies if players can lead the attack.
Compared to other assault rifles, the STG-44 can be a clear winner. On August 3, the Kilo and NZ-41 received strong nerfs that allowed the new AR to take its place at the top. Existing Warzone players feel the same way, with the STG-44 steadily increasing with a pick rate of 4.41% according to WZranked, placing it in the top ten most used weapons currently.
