CoD Streamer Gets Snipe Kills Using Recorder Only

A clip has surfaced from TikTok showing a Call of Duty streamer using a tape recorder instead of a controller, and it works pretty well.

There has been an increase in the number of gamers challenging themselves to play and beat games using controllers that aren’t actually controllers. We’ve seen people play Doom on the piano, beat Elden Ring on the dance floor, and now we have a streamer recording snipe kills.

The TikTok clip was tweeted by Barstool Sports and uses Twitch streamer DeanoBeano’s tool to rank kills in Call of Duty.

The recorder is not the most beautiful instrument there is. For many, it brings back painful memories of classroom music lessons filled with extraordinary, mind-blowing screaming sounds. At least here the notorious sound is used in a fun way.

With a few well-timed breaths, the streamer follows the enemy as they circle away. Seconds later, the broadcaster hits the enemy player with a high-pitched whistle.

Of course, it’s hard to tell from the short clip how well he did for the rest of the game – but it’s still impressive. Catch me now only in the wind lobes of the forest.
