The Caldera has been in Warzone for a long time, and whether you like the map or not, one thing is certain – at some point, you’ll find yourself in the Gulag.
Of course, while your 1-on-1 victory in the Gulag changes everything and sometimes feels like luck, there are some things higher level players typically do to increase their success rate. Here are five of the best tips you can use in the Gulag in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 2.

When both players fall into the Gulag, most people may or may not know at this point, they will have a red frame showing exactly where their opponents are and which direction they are facing. Most gamers probably don’t care enough about where they look and how they see it. As such, the mental game starts here. You can see where your opponent is to try to read them or provide false information yourself (e.g. look dead in the middle or look left then cut right).
This first point will lead you directly to this advice, which tries to inform you so that the opponent stays ahead of you. In a game like Call of Duty, where the total kill time (TTK) is very fast, it’s pretty comprehensive if someone on the flank or flank is unsure. Let go of the false starting line with the red line, pull the punches to move to another position and try to find out where your opponent is in front of him.
When the countdown continues and you are moving freely, shoot at the ground and aim ahead. If they show up, get killed. If not, there is still work to be done. Since the Caldera Gulag has three lanes, you’ll want to check the lane closest to you if the first option doesn’t show their location. Is it good first? Check midpoints and vice versa. Usually, if you go through the center, you will be able to follow your opponent out the window.
Do you check left/right, middle and far from the door and still can’t see them? Flip the gear over and see if you can connect.
Not everyone is a movement god and you shouldn’t be in the Gulag. It’s a closed area for some reason. Move slowly, take out the gun and get ready to shoot. These wars should not last that long.
