Since the release of Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded patch last week, players have a lot more firepower to choose from. During Monday’s live stream session, famed Warzone broadcaster and YouTuber JGOD took the time to showcase some of their favorite long-range weapons.
One of his favorites is an unlikely pick in more ways than one.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War recording works well at distances less than ~100m, as demonstrated by JGOD in its clip, Vargo. Visibility could be better depending on optical connection. In full auto mode the Vargo feels stable and has a tight shooting pattern even at this long distance.
As JGOD points out in his video, the gap between popular weapons is closing. In other words, after the Reloaded update, players are finding less and less benefit from using certain weapons. In that regard, the update seems to have leveled the playing field by giving Warzone players a larger potential loadout pool.
As you can see from the data above, the Vargo is not even in the list of the most popular weapons. According to data collected by Warzone Meta, around 0.37% of players choose Vargo as their primary install. This is roughly similar to the number of players (0.31%) who primarily use Riot Shield. Wow. No wonder JGOD makes so much money.
