Will Verdunsky return after Warzone’s 2nd anniversary? –

With Warzone’s ever-changing maps, weapons, and landscape, people must be feeling nostalgic for the map. That’s how people feel when they talk about Warzone’s original Verdun maps, however.

One of the most beloved maps of all time, the devastating city of Kastov dealt players a heavy blow and shocked and offended them when it was removed. After being replaced by a hot caldera, fans were appalled at his sudden exit from the game, with many calling for him to return. It looked like it would be an easy win when Warzone’s anniversary passed last Thursday.

After Warzone’s birthday passed without mentioning a favorite map, many fans questioned the developer. Raven Software has caused some controversy with Games’ anniversary, not to mention the return of their favorite map, with something of a celebration from a tweet. You’d think they could at least recycle some of their nostalgic old cards and score a few points without doing much.

Adding to the awkward birthday status is Caldera’s current save fact, which has proven to be controversial, with many fans calling him boring and lacking in depth Verdunsky. You think Raven would be willing to submit her old card and test if returning would be a good move.

Ultimately, Verdunsky’s return, while temporary, seems out of our hands at this time. It’s possible the map will return to Warzone one day, but many argue that Verdunsky should be removed from the game for good, giving Raven the freedom to create exciting new maps rather than retconning the past.
