NFL players have been given a first playtest of the upcoming Modern Warfare 2, with an image accidentally shared on Dicker’s Instagram feed. Of course, Activision’s damage control kicked in and the image was removed pretty quickly, replaced by the game’s cover art.

But no matter how brief something may seem on the internet, it is sure to spread like wildfire.

A leaked screenshot gives us our first look at Modern Warefare 2’s upcoming multiplayer lobby. To be honest, there’s not much to see. The lobby looks like what you’d expect from a CoD game – player list, settings, map preview.

But the image confirms one of the maps – the museum-based Valdera Museum, a previously leaked map.

The game’s Early Access beta is expected to kick off in the coming weeks, and it won’t be long before players see it all.
