Our Warzone weapon tier list for July 2022 is here to help you figure out which weapons are best to use as the new meta has been revamped slightly following the release of Raven Software’s latest balancing update.
Since the first patch of Season 4, Warzone has seen the gap between decidedly overpowered and current options in many weapon classes narrow a bit. So here’s how the weapons stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 in July 2022.

Layers
These S-rank variants make up the Warzone weapon meta progression. While the NZ-41, Marco 5, and H4 Blixen are the absolute best choices in their roles, the others listed here are really starting to challenge them as gaming guns. At this point, after many improvements in patches In recent times, the 3 line rifle is the best sniper rifle to use in Warzone. Also, after the big nerf to the UGM-8, the Bruen Mk9 is still the best LMG in the game.
Arrange
In A Tier, several variants remain extremely viable and generally very well balanced for use in Warzone. Essentially, these options aren’t part of the base meta, but can still get the job done and keep you competitive. While Black Ops Cold War AUG seems long overdue again, the STG44, Automaton, MAC-10, UGM-8, ZRG 20mm, HDR, and Whitley are there for S-tier additions.
B-level
These B-rank weapons remain in effect in Season 4, but anyone can use Mastery to get more players to seriously consider Mastering it. Overall, these tools are good, but they lack anything that sets them apart as fun or interesting options to use. Many of them are still very popular, but statistically not as good as the guns above.
layer C
Tier C contains weapons that can be used to really power up in Warzone. Take a look at the list of options here, there are no inspirational names worthy of custom loadouts. Black Ops Cold War AUG had fun with its damage, but we’ll see if that inspires players to use it.
Layer D
At this point in the tier list, this weapon has no place in the meta. Although this higher level allows players to kill one or two, it gets pretty scary at the end of the list.
