The developers have tried to create a competitive and fair match system for years, trying to compete with equally experienced players. Normally scoring is in competitive matches where players get rank and rank as opposed to players of similar rank, but it can be difficult to have such a system in Battle Royale matches. Instead, the developers are creating a skill-based matchmaking system that shows you shadows and places them in specific lobbies.
So why are players nervous about a system designed to balance the game? Because it gathers all the initiatives in a single lobby.
