Recent Call of Duty: Warzone nerfs have seen changes to the Battle Royale meta. In particular, the popular NZ-41 got a nerf that potentially opened up new assault rifles for a new meta.
Warzone Youtuber and Expert WhosImmortal has revealed a new AR that may take the throne as the new Meta in Season 4. According to an expert, Cold War AUG has gained popularity in Warzone and may be the new best AR in Warzone.
In a July 2 YouTube video, the creator featured the AUG’s damage and TTK as distinguishing features and solid recoil levels. According to WhosImmortal, especially beyond 40 yards, the AUG makes it one of the best AR TTKs in the game.
Combining the AUG with a close range weapon like the Marco 5 or a shotgun makes it stand out even more as a medium to long range weapon. Although it wasn’t the most popular weapon in Warzone for years, WhosImmortal thinks the AUG could be a meta choice for AR after the buff.
