Every once in a while we get heartwarming stories from the Call of Duty community showing why the game can be so special. This is one of those stories.
Reddit user DanTheRanger, who will be turning 50 this year, went for his first solo Warzone victory in two years. And on their first attempt to play the new Fortune’s Keep map, they finally won.
“First solo victory in any mode and first time playing a new map :)” DanTheRanger wrote in his post. “Honestly, I’m so happy when I’m 50, it took me 2 fucking years hahaha.”
Their posts are getting lots of likes and support from other players, with one user saying, “Congratulations! I’ve been racing for 3 years and only have one win in any game mode!” DanTheRanger’s post has now garnered over 2,500 upvotes and 164 comments congratulating him on his success.
DanTheRanger may even have signed some new teammates for their next match, when Reddit user Paulrevere1188 asked if there was a fatherly feud where players of the same age and mindset could bond together. to others. This proves that the game is for everyone, regardless of age. Congratulations again DanTheRanger!
