The Call of Duty: Warzone developers have promised to fix PPSh after an accidental gamble turned into one of Warzone’s most powerful tools.
A few days after the Warzone Pacific Season 2 upgrade, players discovered that the PPSh-41 had received a hidden bubble that greatly increased its damage. Players have discovered that a weapon’s kill time drops to less than half a second, making it much more powerful than any other weapon.
Now the Warzone devs have listened to the community and noted the issue and are working to fix it.
We are aware of an issue in the PPSh-41 damage profile that is causing unpredictable increases to base damage and location based multipliers.

On February 22, Raven Software posted on Twitter that they were aware of the issues with the PPSh and were working to fix it to get it back to where it should be.
“We are aware of an issue in the damage profile of the PPSh-41 that is causing unpredictable increases in base damage and location-based multipliers,” they said. “Efforts are being made to put the arms in order.
This is welcome for the Warzone community, who are having trouble contacting the developers due to the current state of the game and long-standing issues. The developers who noticed this issue within days and promised to fix it are a step in the right direction.
The patch release date is unknown, as is any date for the patch, so pay attention to when the PPSh bug is fixed and enjoy collecting gun kills while it’s still in power, before it does not appear.
