Warzone adds Golden Plunder, an all-new limited-time game mode. Following the ongoing Mercenaries of Fortune event, Warzone is adding a new twist to the classic heist game mode.
The goal of Golden Plunder is to complete the game with the most money in the lobby and steal at the same time. Of course, money can be found in coffins or as floor loot. Eliminating competitors also saves money.
Gold Loot contains answers regardless of how many of your teammates are alive. Although still to be confirmed, Golden Plunder may appear on a new map, Fortune’s Keep. That would make sense given that the names are similar.
It could be similar to introducing Rebirth Island alongside the Revival game mode.
new rules
The lobby has grown. From the typical 100 players, the lobby will now be filled with 120 players. Finding players to fight will be much easier now. After death, players will drop more coins than in normal robbery and blood money game modes.
Around the map are broken ATMs that will “follow with endless amounts of cash” when interacting with them. Corrupt ATMs aside, the chances of finding a Golden Key Card are rare. The Gold Key Card will give you access to the basement with lots of money and good loot.
Teams must raise $5,000,000 to secure victory. You’ll need to win by destroying enemies, dealing with broken ATMs, and hoping for the chance to find a golden keycard.
