When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 first reveals gameplay, players may be wondering if the game will feature a Zombies mode.
Zombie Mode, II. It was a key part of the great Call of Duty franchise after WWII. A popular and exciting mode where players unite to prepare, survive and destroy waves of dead soldiers. After WWII, Zombies went through many changes and iterations that resulted in a somewhat polarized version of Call of Duty: Vanguard.
Before the Vanguard saw Treyarch return to Zombies mode, players were frustrated with the decision to run without any round maps. Something Treyarch later announced was in full swing.

But when the Vanguard lifecycle finally begins, players eagerly await Modern Warfare 2 and all the excitement that comes with it. With both the global reveal and gameplay shown over the past few days, many are wondering what’s in store for the game for Zombies.
Infinity War has confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will not have a Zombies mode, in a decision that may disappoint many. The announcement was made by VentureBeat, which received the information that the mod will not be offered in the next game.
Although frustrating, it’s probably not surprising. Modern Warfare 2 is developed by Infinity War, unlike Treyarch. The studio only installed the Zombies mod once in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Announcing that COD games will be taking a break from the annual release cycle, Zombies fans will have to play a few older titles by then.
