Prisoner Rescue is a brand new multiplayer mode coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Of course, given that Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 are officially out, it’s an exciting time to be a Call of Duty fan. Recently, Activision and Infinity Ward personally stepped up their publicity campaigns and invited creators to get a feel for MW2’s initial design through an early access event.
Thanks to CharlieIntel, players can now expect Prisoner Rescue to be one of the new multiplayer game modes to be released with Modern Warfare 2.

Prisoner Rescue is a 6v6 round-based mod that is meant to put Rainbow Six Siege players at ease by focusing on breaking and clearing doors, walls, and rooms.
Teams are split into attacking and defending sides, each player has one life with the ability to drop and respawn per turn, like in Warzone.
The goal is to eliminate the enemy team or take control of the prisoners. The attackers are tasked with rescuing the hostages and getting them out of the building, while the defenders try to hold their ground and protect them from the rebels.
As of press time, it’s unclear how long each innings will take, how many innings will be won, or what the overtime procedures will be.
Overall, Rainbow Six Siege looks like a really promising genre of game for those who love Search and Destroy and the surrounding experience.
