Matt “FormaL” Piper has officially replaced Justin “PisTola” Deese on OpTic Gaming’s Halo Infinite roster, the North American organization announced Friday.
The announcement was made on OpTic Gaming’s Twitter account, with FormaL, 27, moving from content creator to Org, joining the in-laws of Bradley “aPg”, Tommy “Lucid” Wilson and Joey “Trip” Taylor on the main team.

The H4F movement appears to be in full swing as FormaL, who retired from the sport in 2013, played Call of Duty until last August and temporarily replaced Sentinels in recent weeks, has found a home with rival Halo . Arrest Matthew “Royal2” Fiorentina.

Ranked #4 on the HCS All-Time list, PisTola undoubtedly remains one of the most respected players in competitive Halo.
As for OpTic, the move took less than a week to move HCS Anaheim 2022 from second place to Cloud9, who won the first two LAN events and all four HCS North America Pro Series online events.
Until HCS Kansas City, the next LAN event in late April, the new OpTic Series will compete online for series points at the Procer event.
