Here is a list of our Warzone Season 3 Reloaded Assault Rifles to determine which weapons will be put to best use following the release of Raven Software’s latest major balance updates for Caldera and Rebirth Island.
With the Season 3 Reload Patch, we saw some major changes implemented across various weapon class variants. Finally, with the Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War variants hitting again, it seems like an equally important time to unlock and max out these forward-thinking meta guns. So here’s how assault rifles stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 Reloaded.

Layers
In Tier S, there are nine ARs that remain the main meta elements in Season 3 Reloaded. After being merged with the XM4, the STG44 is even more undisputed as the best weapon in its class and throughout the game. Equipped with a torch of Black Ops Cold War variants, the newly built Vargo 52 performs the same than the XM4 predecessor, but is easier to handle. Volk, AS44, and Cooper Carbine are the best AR sniper support options in the game. The Automaton, QBZ-83, and Nikita AVT, on the other hand, still result in high K/D ratios for those who use them, so feel free to keep them under your charge.
Arrange
In A Tier, there are a variety of options that apply at the highest level and generally remain very balanced for use in Warzone. Essentially, these ARs go beyond the mainstream, but they can still get the job done and keep you competitive. After dropping S Rank at the start of Season 3, Raven Software doesn’t seem to like this weapon as the AK-47 from Black Ops Cold War is even more frustrating. Groza and Grav would have been more popular with their sniper mount options without the aforementioned S-Tier options. Meanwhile, BAR and NZ-41 may gain strength after gaining more support.
B-level
These tools remain valid at Tier B but can still use small groups to get more players to seriously consider using them. Finally, some are still quite popular, but statistically worse than the weapons listed above. Probably the most insufferable change from the Season 3 Reloaded update, the CR-56 AMAX have been somewhat forgotten, so it looks like they won’t be appearing in the lobby anymore.
layer C
Whether it’s a ranged support or sniper option, these C-rank rifles aren’t going to be featured in Meta anytime soon, and they definitely need a fan base in Warzone.
