According to Call of Duty statements @RalphsValve on TwitterImportant dates to remember in the coming weeks are:
For those who haven’t heard of the rumors of the MW2 “DMZ” mode yet, this will likely be the game’s third major premium experience to be released during the multiplayer and multiplayer campaign and earnings mode franchise.
Insider celebrity Tom Henderson previously teased that the DMZ game mode would be coming soon and said it would be inspired by the survival shooter Escape From Tarkov. Players will be able to take trips to open and explored areas inhabited by enemy NPCs and other players to gather supplies, weapons, and resources. If a player dies during such a trip, they will lose the equipment they are carrying. But if they manage to recover from their attraction, they can use them all in the next round.
Infinity Ward has yet to confirm the existence of such a game mode.

@TheGhostOfHope also noted that the DMZ probably contained: Custom dynamic weather mod and daily cycles A “compared to Red Dead Redemption 2” and multiplayer marketplace where you can buy and trade items (e.g. operator skins, weapon designs) and eventually use them in Warzone 2.
from Twitter, @RalphsValve wrote The DMZ is likely to follow a sophisticated storyline outlining certain “characters, fronts, and missions” in the “campaign sequel.”
To finish, @LeGhostOfHope And other COD developer @TheMW2Ghost It looks like the DMZ will likely have a map when it releases. Four DMZ maps are said to be in development, each differing in “beautiful design”, with some serving as an “open world” and others more “focused and dense”.
As reported by Tom Henderson for eXputer, four fan-favorite maps from the original MW2 2009 will return not only to the new main title, but also to the Warzone 2 map itself:
But Henderson added the opposite. Get @TheGhostOfHopethat Warzone 2 and DMZ share the same map, just with different in-game loops. This could of course be the case if both descriptions are correct, one of the DMZ maps is the same one used in Warzone 2.
from Twitter, @RalphsValve wrote Infinity Ward plans to “add more remastered maps than expected,” including Call of Duty 4, MW2 (2009), and Modern Warfare 3, extending Modern Warfare 2’s cycle through 2023.
Back in February, @TheMW2Ghost had a few tweets about the design of future Modern Warfare 2 reset maps.
a Are the cards designed with the concept of “carrying on the traditional call of duty and staying true to the Infinity Ward rocket”?
For example, TheMW2Ghost mentioned “Doors looked at a few maps” but not 100% confirmed if this will stick around for the final build.
LeMW2Ghost Also noted These future maps are similar to Infinity Ward DLC maps released for Modern Warfare (2019), such as Oil Rig, Khandor Hideout, and Sawmill, and have a “shinier aesthetic”.
As for the MW2 pistol, it was rumored that the favorite interceptor sniper rifle and ACR assault rifle would be back. According to @TheMW2Ghost, Intervention is the only approved intervention At least it should run, ACR and UMP45 don’t seem to make a reduction.

According to this @TheMW2GhostPro Perks are truly back in MW2, allowing players to complete challenges to unlock better versions of base offerings.
As for traffic, MW2 will appear The players move and Run faster before shooting It’s faster than Modern Warfare 2019 reboot, but not as fast as Vanguard. This makes sense, given that it’s already been proven that the game will use a new engine. @RalphsValve says “Metaphorically not new” but “significantly improved”.
The descriptions state that the undo slide will return as “almost all MW19 mechanics have been added with new ones” Diving with dolphins, Ability to tilt and tilt while shooting and “No one has spoken publicly about completely new/different visual mechanics.”
before that according to reports It’s in the air before, it really looks like it’s gonna be new Back to the classic Call of Duty minimap Instead of the MW19 style minivan where red dots don’t appear while enemies are firing.
LeMW2Ghost of twitter This Drone, Sentry Gun and Chopper Gunner will return as Killstreaks with the new “Soundwave” which works like an EMP on the face of it except for sound.
Vanguard’s Combat Pacing multiplayer matchmaking feature, for better or worse, will return in the new game, but TheMW2Ghost Added It is “subject to change”.
According to this @RalphsValveDespite plans to “overhaul” Modern Warfare 2’s SBMM system, lobbyists are likely to be “here to stay for all upcoming premium Call of Duty titles.”
