Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 have been leaked for the past few weeks, and whistleblowers have released additional information about the upcoming battle royale show. The new leak introduces even bigger changes to the loadout system, inventory, armor, and more.
According to a source close to popular YouTuber NerosCinema, fans should expect a number of major changes in Warzone 2. Here are some new changes that are expected to come to Warzone 2.
The first big change shared with NerosCinema relates to Warzone’s Loadout Drop system. Rather than simply depositing cash at the Buy Station to secure the Custom Initial Loadout, players may soon be required to spawn with unique challenges. “Loadloads will still be part of the game,” NeroCinema said, “but they’ll be locked behind these things called Strongholds.”
According to the leak, these fortresses can be found on a new map and players will need to complete objectives once to unlock their loadouts such as “break into the building” or “defuse the bomb”.
It also looks like there will be a big change in inventory, according to NeroCinema. “There are plans to introduce the bag system,” explains NerosCinema. With this system, as with other Battle Royale games like DayZ and H1Z1, all items and equipment are likely to take up inventory space.
This will be a major change that will limit what the player can carry on the map and make Warzone more realistic. It is currently unknown what he will do after leaving office.
A similar story applies to armored vehicles in Warzone 2. Instead of having the ability to store a few plates by default, players may soon “need a bag even to outfit them from scratch,” said the YouTuber. This could mean that all players will enter Warzone 2 without any armor, which will be interesting for the first battles.
A past leak has already revealed that a new map for Warzone 2 is coming. However, the latest wave of leaks seems to have confirmed one of the latest POIs.
According to NeroCinema, one of the areas specifically mentioned was Highrise Modern Warfare 2. The source also informed NerosCinema that the highly sought after Fire Range feature will work in Warzone 2.
I won’t give up, but most are true.
I’m suggesting some inconsistencies as the source doesn’t recall the exact details…but yes, it appears the leaked reset is from https://t.co/MaVyUEWBch.

Tom Henderson said on Twitter that much of this information is correct, but TheGhostofHope indicates in a CoD disclosure response that some of the leaks may be related to the leaked Modern Warfare 2 DMZ mod. and we’ll have to wait for Infinity Ward to give us guaranteed information about the new game. If any more leaks are shared for MW2, we’ll let you know.
