Apex Legends Dev Reveals How A Bronze Player Can Fit Into The Platinum Lobby

The Apex Legends player posted a message from EA Help explaining why they fit into the platinum household even though they are only bronze. While the first post seemed to clarify what it called a system error, it turned out to be a little more complicated. The Respawn developer dug a little deeper and explained that this system actually works.

It all has to do with prefabricated lobbies.

As commented above. A bronze player should never play with a diamond or more due to a deliberate spread, but platinum can be fully achieved. The bronze player received part gold, so gold and platinum will be placed in the lobby. You queue with the highest player in predefined lobbies. That’s why it was designed entirely for the Platinum Foyer bronze player.

Typically, this is more likely to happen during off-hours when fewer players will be available. Respawn doesn’t want players waiting in long queues, so they’re confusing queues a bit.
