The Apex Legends leaker may have revealed the next Limited Time Mode (LTM) that Respawn Entertainment has prepared for its players, and it appears to be offering a change of pace in cooldown.
The countdown to Apex Legends Season 13 will continue, and with Defiance’s Safe Control LTM rolling back, of course, the new entertainment mode seems to be upon us.
On Monday, HYPERMYST posted a video showing apparently leaked footage of “Acquire the Ball” on LTM on Apex Legends.
The clip shows which team won the first five goals, the “balloon” is a grenade.
Other than the serious goal-scoring noise, perhaps the most important takeaway in the clip is that the map they’re playing on looks like Titanfall and Titanfall 2 Settlements.
“I wonder how many Titanfol we will get, because it would be weird to put the map on the typhoon and the colony without explanation,” said Ajbadboy_24 in a comment.
The video also appears to show a future team deathmatch map including the town of Storm Point. Along with a full ocean view, plenty of verticality and gameplay angles, the TDM map looks like pure chaotic fun.
After all, of course, leaks can be achieved with grains of salt, as they are far from the official finished product.
However, if the ball game and TDM LTMs, like the settlement map, were to end up in Apex Legends, you’d probably bet they’d be good shots considering how different they are to us. Seen in a popular title so far.
