Apex Legends’ original battle royale map Kings Canyon is back in the spotlight for the second half of Season 12: Defiance, and it seems safe to say the movement is polarizing.
With KC entering the ranked battle royale roster after a week of competition on Olympus, there’s no doubt that all players have needed adjustments and adaptations lately. For those who find map switching particularly difficult, TSM Phillip “ImperialHal” Dosen seems to have some advice.
“Everyone is used to playing aggressive and fighting,” ImperialHal told Stream. “KC is fair, so you can’t play. You must play as a dwarf and play as Caustic. If you really want to earn RP and not lose your mind, you should and really should play Caustic. smart because the W grab, like the last episode, won’t happen until we have more Predators or Masters players on that map.
Ultimately, the debate over Kings Canyon surviving on new maps like Olympus will continue, though those who don’t like KC won’t have to worry anymore as the season will end at the start of May 13.
Before that, it may be worth following the advice of the self-proclaimed CEO of Apex to start Caustic and play Kings Canyon methodically.
