Apex Legends patch 1.92 released on Tuesday, featuring a new Warriors Collection event, a return to control, and even PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | It brings next-gen versions of the game for S.
While the devs tend to list every modification planned for the gun, it’s not uncommon to see a hidden or unannounced modification. Players often work together to share experiences and may notice the slightest difference in spray style or retreat.
That’s what famous Apex Legends miner Shrugtal thinks happened to Rampart’s ultimate ability. With much faster cooldowns, it looks like this “stealth owl” might force more players to lock onto the Amped Modder in Defiance Season 12.
Shadow Buffs Update 12.1:
* Rampart “Sheila” charge time (-30%): 1.75 -> 1.25
* Bow Shatter Caps Damage (+2): 3/6/9 -> 5/8/11Try rampart buff, it’s crazy.

As Shrugtal announced on Twitter on Tuesday, Rampart’s “Sheila” on-board minigun has had its reload time reduced by 30%, from 1.75 seconds to 1.25 seconds.
The downside is that the reload and cooldown must be long because it is a mini mounted rifle with high damage and high combat ability.
As such, it looks like Rampart’s Ultimate should play much better in the middle of the quarter, where its players are often most vulnerable when trying to upgrade a minigun.
It also appears that the Shatter Caps Hop-Up for the Bocek Bow also take light damage, making this weapon a more effective option at close range.
As of this writing, these two changes are still strangely absent from the 1.92 patch notes, which include bug fixes, Hop-Ups rotation speed adjustment, G7 Scout POIs , etc
Chances are it was an accident, another common occurrence at important times. Developers may have bugs that affect weapon performance for better or worse. The public will complain about the hidden change until the developer finds the bug and restores the original settings.
“Try the Rampart buffet, looks boring,” Shrugtal said on Twitter.
