Want to steal Explosive Hold Apex Legends but don’t have any grenades? It looks like this exploit will have you covered.
Explosive Holds were first introduced in Season 8: Mayhem as a new type of safe unique to Kings Canyon. Although not as lucrative as other basements and bunkers on the map, Kings Canyon’s explosive holds are one of the most accessible basements in the game, as all players only need well-positioned combat arms to open those doors. Thanks to this bug submitted by YouTuber RossBobSquirrel, the process seems to have been made even easier as players can enter explosive realms in Kings Canyon without spending a grenade.
As RossBobSquirrel demonstrates in his video, the only thing players need to use this exploit is to use Revenant’s Death Totem ultimate ability.
Indeed, this flaw abuses the mechanism to make players return to the service after death.
Have the avenger place the death totem as close to one of the explosive mount doors as possible. Then use the totem to get the respawn effect and die jumping off the map, shooting – the method doesn’t matter. After reinstalling, you should be able to bypass the locked door and secure it to the bracket.
While you usually have access to their weapons, ammo, and valuables, this keeps both doors locked, which can lead to some fun surprises. Also, after opening both doors from the inside, one of the center consoles floats in the air.
Respawn will patch this vulnerability soon to prevent players from abusing it in key competitive environments.
