While Crypto is one of the least picked legends in Apex Legends, new feats have made their way into competitive matches. Not even a season 12 fan was enough to save the crypto from the bottom of the list.
But nothing should make you invincible.
A Reddit user shows off a clip that starts off innocently enough. Wrai approaches Crypto, who draws attention with his drone. Whatever the easy kill was, it happened oddly quickly. No shots were fired while Crypto was on the plane, and as soon as he exited the drone, everything fell apart.
Crypto immediately started moving abnormally, disappearing on the wall, on the floor, and always changing position. The footage appeared to have finally been recorded, but it appeared to have been ghosted.
A Redditor commented with a statement but didn’t want to say too much so people couldn’t use the exploit.
“This is a deliberate misuse of the bug. There is almost no chance that this error will occur accidentally, so the person making it will most likely use it deliberately to gain an advantage. To do this, use one of the hidden crypto skins.(like in the video) It needs to be equipped It should take some time for the crypto to try and exploit the bug Something Because the death protection of the Revenant totem ends. I will not say the details in bc. I don’t want to discourage him, but you can search if you want to try it on the shooting range. This basically breaks Crypto a lot of animations and makes him harder to hit, so it looks like he’s on the ground, sliding, posing and so on.
I’d say I’m surprised it hasn’t been installed yet, but this is Respawn we’re talking about. It could take months to fix.
The comment does not explain how Crypto is immune while using the drone. Apparently the exploit forcing Crypto to shut down makes them invincible when using drones.
