Each season of Apex Legends includes at least one collection. Last season, the collectible event was called the Awakening Event.
Last season’s awakening event, Monsters vs. It was mech themed. Cosmetic rewards were monster or machine themed.
The theme for this season’s collection event may have just been revealed. The theme could be around the movies Alien, Predator and Prometheus.
Some movie buffs can decipher the references. The first and most obvious is the Gibraltar skin. Gibraltar’s pale skin recalls the character of Prometheus. And seeing them side by side really shows that.
The following two similarities are not so easy to see. The other two are weapon skins. The appearance of the first weapon is similar to Aliens. It looks completely black with small light green spots.
The appearance of the next weapon is similar to the Predator from the Predator movies. The skin is mostly gray with a golden undercoat above and below. Next to the gold are small dots painted red. Combined, these colors look like a predator.
As with any leak, Respawn Entertainment has not confirmed anything. Until the public hears official news about the event, we will continue to complain about the changes to the public.
