Apex Legends may have the most advanced moves of any popular Battle Royale game. Whether it’s slides, legendary abilities, or glitches, players always rave about the map.
One of Apex Legends’ most iconic moves was a nervous breakdown. Tap strafing is a combination of bunny hopping and aerial strafing. It allows the player to make tighter turns without jumping. If done correctly, several consecutive taps will result in a full 180 degree turn.
A while back the tap pull was nerfed and you could only turn 90 degrees instead of a full turn. After a while, tap strafing was completely removed from the game.
Tap Strafing is edgy and cannot be done more than 90 degrees. ᲜῦᲗᲦᲚ ᲦᲦ ᲦᲧᲝᲩ. https://t.co/8uG2JcR23u pic.twitter.com/2Tj4PnkpH6

Obviously, the developers had no intention of doing this, as they reacted to the incident quite quickly. “We have seen and reviewed your reports of faucet failure issues since today.”
Attention legends 📢
We’ve seen your reports of faucet lag issues @PlayApex Post today and discuss it. Thank you for your patience while we resolve this issue.

We don’t know how the faulty faucet will be when it’s fixed. There are three possible options. Either complete removal of the tap suppressor returns the tap suppressor to normal, or the nerf to the tap suppressor was no accident.
Another possibility is that Respawn is looking at the action in Apex Legends as a whole. decide whether some mechanics should stay or others should leave.
