According to a report from Dexerto, Respawn Entertainment has no plans to make Control a permanent mod in Apex Legends.
Ever since its debut in Season 12: Defiance, Control has been a fan favorite, especially in the Apex Legends Limited Time Mode (LTM) community. Unfortunately, Respawn doesn’t seem interested in systematically adding it to its playlist rotation.

“The developers don’t intend to make Control a permanent fixture in Apex Legends,” Dexerto reports, “rather than keeping it as a rotating game mode to attract players based on its rarity. If it’s activated 24 hours a day, Control. It can die – just like Arenas slowly did in Apex Legends. The fact that it spins in and out means that once added again, players are stacked with games that keep breaking.
The report also indicates that Respawn could possibly lower expectations.
As a result, it’s probably no surprise that Control has been so well received by the player base.
It was the first major team mode added to the game and allowed players to use existing firearms and abilities to their liking in a fast-paced, low-pressure 9v9 environment.
As seen in other free-to-play battle royale titles, Call of Duty: Warzone and Fortnite have a bigger team than ever, deathmatch-style modes also give players a place to warm up before diving in. completely into the ultimate survival challenge. .
