Apex Legends players are terrorized by hackers who find a way to hijack players’ matches. Hacking ruins the experience of every game and unfortunately Apex is no exception.
This hack was demonstrated firsthand when camms, a popular Twitch streamer, played a regular Apex Legends game. While playing on the StormPoint map, he was suddenly taken to the loading screen and then to the firing range.
This abrupt change was odd for a number of reasons, but most importantly, the cameras were never manually removed from the game they were playing and never attempted to load onto the Firing Range.
what happened You accidentally got kicked off the shooting range with a random guy??? @PlayApex @RSPN_Hides pic.twitter.com/OD1cQgp2iG

As soon as it was charged into the firing range, the player ran away and encountered the “Owner” message in the game chat.
Hacking is no joke, especially in Battle Royales. Games like Warzone have been plagued with cheaters for years, but nothing comes close to the absurdity of kidnapping players in-game.
Currently this is a very rare situation and there is no information on how the hacker achieved this exploit, but it can cause serious problems if left unmodified.
Hopefully, after the clip goes viral (currently 274,000 views), Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment will investigate this issue to prevent it from happening again in the future.
