Post Malone Apex Legends ‘Play For Love’ Charity Releases Announcement

Avid Apex Legends actor and American rapper, singer, songwriter and producer Post Malone is officially back on the airwaves after announcing the charity show “Gaming for Love” on Monday.

It’s no secret that Post Malone is a big fan of Apex Legends. Although the post has occasionally appeared on the streams of other popular Apex creators recently, the Gaming for Love list marks the first stream he’s hosted on his personal Twitch account since January 2018.

“It was an idea we had a while ago,” Post Malone said at the start of his July 18 stream. “I love playing video games and I love Apex Legends and I have a lot of good friends and we just wanted to play games and have a good time and show our support for beautiful people around the world and we have charities I will make a donation next week.

We just wanted to show our support and solidarity. There is so much beauty in this world, but there are also so many mistakes, and we just wanted to make sure that everyone doesn’t feel alone.

Post Malone officially kicked off Monday with a nearly 8-hour show dedicated to Human Rights Watch.

At the time, viewers coldly posted Malone’s “major player” on NRG Stream, Brandon “Asu” Winn and American rapper Ski Mask the God of Collapse. But it also managed to eclipse Steam’s target by raising the target to $20,761.61.

According to Twitch Tracker, Post Malone’s stream on July 18 averaged 20,400 viewers, peaking at 23,701, putting him at the top of the category along with aceu.

Subsequently, Post Malone is set to air on July 20, July 22, and July 24, each beginning at 9 p.m. ET. Project HOPE, United Way and The Trevor Project are organizations planning to move forward.

According to Dot Esports, Respawn Entertainment contributed to the cause by donating $10,000 to each charity.
