Apex Legends is in the middle of its thirteenth season, Saviors. Despite introducing the new legend to Newcastle, the defensive shield user did not prove to be a column at the top of the leaderboard, remaining just a third ahead of Crypto and Mad Maggie.
Offensive Legend Mirage, one of the first legends at launch, fared no better and currently has a pick rate of 2.9%. Yet, the mirage still holds a place in the hearts of audiences, given the amount of information provided by the character during gameplay.
Those who want to know a little more about the character’s background may be wondering who is behind his funny tone.
Mirage is voiced by popular comedian Roger Craig Smith, who you can often hear in various video games, animations, and more.
Players have been listening to him as Ezio Auditore in Assassin’s Creed II, Chris Redfield in Resident Evil 6, and Sonic the Hedgehog since 2010. Anime fans may also recognize Smith’s voice as Deidara in Naruto: Shipuden and Shinji in Hirako Blech.
Smith has voiced Mirage since 2019 after the character was introduced.
