Turn Apex Legends: Lifeline’s Care Package into a death trap

Each character in Apex Legends has unique abilities that give you an edge over your enemies. Some are meant to harm, while others are only meant to help you and your team. In cases such as Lifeline and Care Package, some skills can surprise both of them.

Lifeline discovered many tricks that made him a popular legend, but with one of Lifeline’s skills, he found a new trick that turns the care pack into a death trap for enemies. The callout is commonly used for support abilities, like dropping the Care Pack to your team when you need reinforcements, but TikTok user Phenomenal_gaming has found it useful to trap a team that doesn’t suspect anything they care about.

Phenomenal_gaming was playing Duos alone after discovering an enemy team firing towards them. In low health, the player summoned his last ability, the Care Package, near the stairs of a nearby building. Realizing they were going to be shot, Lifeline ran under the stairs and fell.

When a platoon came to steal their corpses, they realized that the Care Package had actually locked them in a tight place, causing them to die when a circle or team that could pass through entered.

Phenomenal_gaming continued to mock the enemy team, seeing how embarrassed the team was and watching them get kicked out. With TikTok-like ladders around various maps, this trick can be completed at World’s Edge, Storm Point, and more. The sacrifice tactic to resist the last enemies in a match and can be difficult to do. But if you accept defeat and want to take enemies with you as a lifeboat, this can be a fun trick to ensure you don’t die in vain and your team can carry on with less resistance.
