Apex Legends Mobile has already proven to make money for Respawn.
According to mobile data tracking company SensorTower, the mobile version of Respawn Entertainment’s popular battle royale game, Apex Legends, has already generated around $4.8 million in revenue from in-game purchases made by players. This impressive number comes just a week after the game launched.
Main game Apex Legends, available on consoles and PC, has grossed over $2 billion since its release in early 2019. Given the numbers already seen by its mobile counterpart, it’s possible we’ll see similar earnings eventually.

Apex Legends Mobile was the long-awaited release of the game, and after some time, the game finally launched on May 17. The game features slightly different content from the main game, including the mobile exclusive Legend Fade. . While the vast majority of current game legends can be seen in the mobile version, some are not currently on the list.
Apex Legends Mobile has its own battle pass and cosmetics, meaning there’s no shortage of in-game purchases if players want them. According to GameSpot, 44% of Apex Mobile purchases were made by US gamers, who spent a total of $2.1 million in the first week of the game’s first season, according to SensorTower.
The game has proven popular not only in the United States, but also in countries like Japan and Thailand, where mobile games have a particularly strong following.
Given its rapid success, it’s safe to assume that Apex Legends Mobile isn’t going away anytime soon.
