When comparing Recon Legends to Apex Legends: Saviors, it’s pretty easy to see that many in the community think Pathfinder can use passive abilities in the episode.
The Bloodhound has the ability to see enemy footsteps, the Seer can accurately detect enemy heartbeats, ADS-ing, the Crypto Drone marks enemies within range, and the Valkyrie has a jetpack that allows it to steal. At the same time, the Pathfinder’s Insider’s information ability allows the Forward Scout to reduce its final cooldown when scanning the research marker.
That’s why Apex Legends content creator The Gaming Merchant recently posted a video on his YouTube channel explaining that perhaps the best idea for a passive Pathfinder remake has been endorsed by Respawn Entertainment this whole time. with only Apex Legends In Mobile.
“Pathfinder is one of the legends that needs a new passive the most,” The Gaming Merchant said in the video. “The devs even said, ‘If you could think of a good passive that wouldn’t make it very strong,’ then they would potentially consider doing it. But that was on the cell phone this whole time.
Gaming Merchant then goes on to show you how in the new mobile version of Apex Legends, Pathfinder has the ability to use Grapple Teams to speed it up and bring it to life.
“You can corner them,” said Gaming Merchant. “You could lift them to a height and slide them down jump ramps and it would all be really weird, but wouldn’t that be a really good passive idea for Pathfinder?”
Recently, the video comments section was flooded with ideas from other community members, adding that they will use it to knock their teammates off a cliff or that it should be part of their tactical skills.
Working with Lightspeed & Quantum Studios, Respawn is developing Apex Legends Mobile on individual servers as a standalone experience with custom controls, content, social features, and game modes for mobile games.
Apex Legends Mobile differs from the original game by breaking some legends, as well as having a specially designed battle pass, cosmetics, and legends.
All in all, it’s encouraging to see Respawn taking some really fun risks in Apex Legends Mobile, which can be tested and eventually make their way into the main game.
