With Season 12, Apex Legends has seen some exciting changes to pre-existing Legends when it comes to tension or ruin abilities. Others like Loba and Wattson abruptly changed their abilities, as legends like Crypto had seen better days with Buff impacting their drones.
With Wattson’s Perimeter Safety, players can still take damage from crossing the threshold and disrupting their view, but the stun effect appears to be broken.

When players walk through electric fences, there is a noticeable lack of camera movement, causing players affected by this skill to still be able to aim and shoot at other players. Like other gaps consist of fences that go inside walls or unrelated to other fences and nodes.
Since the stun isn’t as effective and break threshold has become problematic, players have called on Respawn Entertainment to address this issue, as Watson has always had issues with past bugs and glitches that Respawn attempts to fix. This time around, Respawn needs this small change to make Wattson electric fences more useful.
