Our Apex Legends layers list is here for those who want to update the best characters from Season 12.
As the meta is right now, there is a wide variety of legends dominating Apex Legends as always. However, that doesn’t mean that Respawn Entertainment haven’t changed everything up a bit with their latest patch. Here is the list of the best legends to use in Apex Legends: Defiance.

Layers
At the top of the list are five nonsense myths, always useful options in any format. All of these mythos have seen no change since the release of Defiance and will therefore continue to dominate as they once did.
Stage
There are six legends in A Tier that have yet to be overcome, but are still a solid choice for any team. Mad Maggie’s unique set makes a nice shift in meta gear, while Octane, Horizon, Pathfinder, and Revenant have also proven to be effective aggressive choices. Caustic is still a defensive legend this season.
B-level
These other seven legends sit in the middle and stay alive in the right hand. Seer and Crypto are more fearsome creeping legends than Bloodhound, Lifeline can easily be taken over by a third party, Mirage remains a question mark, Wattson will most likely miss out on Caustic’s pick, and Loba could have some responsibility in a fight.
layer C
With an irresistible choice left to Meta, the two Agents Bangalore and Rampart find themselves in Tier C. While there are always those who do well with these Legends, these two are often at the bottom of the leaderboards because they are either lagging behind, being too situational, or simply not offering an extra team to help them.
