There’s a new flaw in Apex Legends that players should be aware of.
Apex’s final season may have just begun, but players have already encountered a few that could break the game. One in particular is that players cannot slide uphill, putting them at a huge disadvantage. in terms of mobility.
The error seems to have cropped up in a very specific way and is based on IMC Armory. Apex YouTuber Gaming Merchant also posted a video showing off their experience with disappointing lags.
The lag appears to be due to IMC Armory, where after clearing all Specters, players can activate the switch and lift using the airborne emergency exit ramp. As Game Trader explains, this generally allows players to hover and switch positions seamlessly.
Sometimes, however, players can’t put their head (or coat) on the shelves after taking off and landing. “No matter how hard you try, you can’t hold it and it will kill you,” the YouTuber said.
It is unclear why the ramp is causing this delay. Players may not even realize that’s why Armory made a particularly annoying little mistake.
Until this shortcoming is fixed, players are advised not to hold their heads up high in this fashion unless they really have no other choice. This could be one of the things that will make you lose the game.
