Fans can expect to return to Storm Point on May 10.
Along with the usual new cosmetics and battle tickets, there will be plenty more in the new season. Respawn Entertainment runs on “smart boxes” and gives players a chance to get useful loot. Boxes will give players items that are missing from their loadout. This unique idea begs the question: will Apex Legends have overhead? When asked at a developer meeting, they responded with a fairly simple answer. not yet. Respawn loves using guns and thinks that’s key to the BR experience. But they “research” the idea. You can see this research as a check when players load up and even put new “smart trash cans”. This in itself is a step towards deterministic looting.
We’ll have to wait and see if Respawn continues down this path and gives players more options for loot.
