Publisher Moztros brings to Spain Money Shot, an erotic comedy that disguises criticism of today’s society.
We live in a “complex” time, to say the least. A pandemic, twenty-first century flat-earthists, anti-vaccineists in the midst of war, racism, and a host of other things that are inappropriate to respond to in a comic book review. At least one is not as beautiful and curious as her coin toss† What the publisher brought us demonstrations Space adventures turned out to offer a harsh critique of society, mixed with a good dose of eroticism and good humor. It’s a very curious mix that works very well for now.
Money Shot puts us in a near future where the government has no interest in science and no money to fund research. Space travel is so expensive that space exploration has stopped. This, combined with alien civilizations’ disinterest in humanity due to wars, divided societies, and indifference to the welfare of others, has kept humanity apart. And as a result of this intergalactic problem, humans have developed a lack of interest in science and space exploration.
And in this case we find ourselves with the hero of this story. Dr. Christine Ocampo Even if he had built a machine, a revolutionary system that could teleport humans to other planets, he wouldn’t have the money to further develop his business. In this critical situation, he offers his colleagues, four other scientists of different specialties, a way to get the money to continue his research: porn.
Bored people look for new things on adult sites that obviously prefer weirder porn. Knowing that sex sells, the doctor advises his colleagues to shoot sexual scenes with different races from other planets and tries to offer new experiences to users using teleportation.
This is a summary of Money Shot’s premise. So what’s so funny about porn? Where is the fun or the erotic side of humanity’s choice of watching sex on the couch rather than exploring space travel? there he is push-up answer to the question. The authors are harshly criticizing capitalism, the use of sex to raise money; But in turn, they do it from a friendly point of view. The doctor suggests watching porn with the rest of the researchers, two men and two women, but in a healthy, safe, and consensual way. It doesn’t try to force extraterrestrials, but rather seeks out subjects that want to relate to them. There is no place for homophobia, racism, transphobia or sexual violence here.
The issue of sexuality as a job, webcamsProstitution, the platforms where you pay for certain videos or photos is a complex subject with many nuances, but Money Shot doesn’t get into that much. Criticism and eroticism are mingled with the interplanetary adventures of the leading group in a desire to entertain more than conduct a complex study of the subject in question.
When it comes to eroticism or outright explicit sex scenes, there are none that take up most of the comic. You have good natured, pleasant, morbid erotic scenes, but they are not the center of the plot. There is bisexual sex and no restrictions, it’s interspecies (although in the hominid species, maybe they could get a little wetter here) and always enjoyable without violating anyone in the process. Some scenes are more evocative than others, but some moments that are closest between characters also seem more mechanical. On the other hand, the most inspiring scenes manage to convey what they represent to the reader much more effectively. These scenes not only serve, almost entirely, as a genre. fan service It’s morbid, but it also allows us to get to know the heroes better by knowing their tastes, their relationships with others, and even some of their past. land written by Timm Seeley and Sara Beatle It might have been an excuse to jump from porn scene to porn scene, but instead it manages to create a fun adventure with very human characters. It is full of humor, sexual jokes, bedtime jokes and double meanings. Conflicts between characters who find themselves in very unusual situations.
drawing Rebecca Isaacs It’s a clean, clean line and rich in details that fit the story so well. It has no problem drawing all kinds of bodies from different ethnic groups or galactic races. Perhaps the disadvantage is that it also does not get wet here, because practically all the characters are attractive with normative bodies. At least if you don’t take into account tentacles and blue-skinned creatures.
Finally, the number three Moztros publishing house will bring us to Spain will be three issues (a short series! Quick, make a wish!) and the truth is they’re being very well taken care of. We have before us a comic book that manages to attract attention, not in the most obvious way. A comedy full of absurd situations, made for fun. The sex scenes aren’t exactly explicit, but they’re stimulating enough to be considered an erotic comic that doesn’t disdain words when it comes to certain topics. And this, In these turbulent times, we ultimately need to be critical, but also find a place to have fun and enjoy ourselves in a healthy way. And Money Shot is a prime example of this.
