Obi-Wan Kenobi ends up leaving feeling more devastating than anyone would want.
Star wars has given more than one iconic character. And one of the most well-known is Obi-Wan Kenobi. Originally performed by alec guinness and then Ewan McGregor this epic has great dramatic weight in its tragedy.
This character, like the others, represents the error assumed by Darth Vader. He is the master of a corrupt Padawan who eventually led to a massacre of Jedi, the downfall of someone who has nothing to fight for and denies what he once was.and. But it is also a distant possibility of salvation, seeking to find hope when it is nearly exhausted.
Regardless, there was a huge gap between the predecessors and the Luke Skywalker trilogy that was worth exploring. It’s a blank canvas that can go a long way when the right keys are pressed.
Therefore, there was a certain expectation around the series. Obi-Wan Kenobi† All the elements are crafted to create something interesting. It meant the (partial) rest of the Jedi Mandalorian Yes Boba Fett Book had enough time to arouse a desire to return to them in an audience who had already forgotten the great stumbling block. It was the perfect time for the follower to somehow reconcile with him. Star wars more classic. And yet it did not happen.
Probably Obi-Wan Kenobi It was one of those situations where there were too many cooks in the kitchen. The production issues of this series have come a long way and they also had to rewrite it on the fly. And there is no power that can fix it.
The six-episode miniseries was announced as a brand new star saga. And arguably, they seemed to have made the right decisions: Inquisitors seeking an Obi-Wan are determined to protect the young Skywalkers no matter what. The premise is interesting† But the way it developed and was captured on screen put an end to anything that might have been expected.
The problem is with the script. Rather than having a single vision, it has been rewritten multiple times by different authors such as Hossein Amini and Andrew Stanton. Lacking a clear line to follow, the series is seen as having different concepts, tones, mixed genres, no rhyme and no reason.
The amount of careless solutions, inconsistencies, and careless decisions are also shocking. Writing is the least expensive to produce, and the foundations need to be firmer for the work to bear fruit.† And of course they leave a lot to be desired.
They seem to have relied heavily on fan service to overlook many things. And it finished. But when the situation is absolutely untenable, with a few scratches, all the manufacturing flaws come to the fore.
The same goes for the address. Deborah Chow is the person in charge of all departments.† took over stephen daldry because he was basically someone who trusted the company more. Unsurprisingly, it did some of the best parts of the series. Mandalorian.
However, he became a director who really beat him. Realization is television in the worst sense of the word and with a confusing montage that seems more disturbing than telling.
But worst of all is undoubtedly the always takedown of the epic feel that some series in the series were meant to have. In addition to the fact that the choice of many of their screenplays is somewhat ambiguous, many of their scenes are more ludicrous due to the lack of heartbeat from which they were shot. A conscious effort has been made not to use the classical themes of this epic. Something that leaves a bitter aftertaste with the main characters on the screen.
The best part of the production is the cast. Ewan McGregor knows how to bolster the show with charisma and make it more bearable to watch† The team of villains is not far behind: Moses Ingram Yes Rupert Dating not scary like his father Hayden Christensen (Not so much Anakin) was noted to be particularly excited about the possibility.
worst Obi-Wan KenobiI dream of possible series. This should be considered the most careful product that a tremendous study of economic capacity can yield. It’s devastating when analyzed through this prism, but it’s best to focus on it for what it is.
if you need to define Obi-Wan Kenobi In a word, that would be disappointing. Because of what this character means to many followers of the saga. For anyone who has waited years for the legendary Jedi to return to real action. For Disney+ subscribers paying for higher quality content. And finally, it’s for anyone who always thinks the best about everything they see. This series was shot in the foot with important things causing the wound to bleed threefold. A disgrace. A real shame. I hope the next thing raises the bar.
