The War Sails expansion will be released in the fall of 2025 and will bring naval combat, a new Nord faction, and an expanded map.
Conquering Calradia on land is great, but be prepared to conquer it by sea as well.
Developers from TaleWorlds Entertainment because they announced a gigantic expansion War sails for the game Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. The addition will bring a lot of news: new Nord faction inspired by Viking culture, ability to control 18 different types of ships (with frames, dives, deck attacks).
The game’s map will be expanded to include the North Sea, islands, rivers, navigation and harbor blockades, adding a new dimension to naval warfare. Original the release date should have been June 17, 2025but the developers announced the delay, saying they wanted to bring the quality of the game to a level they were happy with.
Thus, the new product is aimed at start of fall semester 2025.
In Mount and Blade, you can control not only the land, but also the sea, improve ships, settle scores with enemy fleets, or simply cross the rivers of Calradia.
